1. Limited time offer: You will automatically be entered into the drawings of the Refunds Today Refunds Today Fall 2022 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) if you renew your tax software package for Tax Year 2022 directly through Refunds Today, LLC (“Refunds Today”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Universal Tax Systems, Inc. d/b/a CCH Small Firm Services (“CCH SFS”) from September 6, 2022 through 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on September 30, 2022. You may enter without purchase from September 6, 2022 through 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on September 30, 2022 as set forth in Paragraph 5 below.
2. Prizes: Eight (8) prizes will be awarded in one scheduled drawing for entries received during the sweepstakes duration. Prizes will be two (2) Grand Prizes of a one-year subscription to the CCH iFirm Client portal; two (2) General Prizes of one copy of the the US Master Tax Guide, two (2) General Prizes of one copy of the TheTaxBook Deluxe, and two(2) General prizes for full access to the choice of three continuing education packages include the 20-Hour CTEC, 20-Hour CTEC with AFSP, or 18-Hour IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) certification. No prize substitutions allowed, except in the sole discretion of Refunds Today and then only for a prize of equal or lesser value. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries submitted during the drawing period. Only one entry and only one prize per person. Prizes are non-transferable. All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of winners. The decisions of Refunds Today are final in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
3. Drawing: One drawing will be held on or around October 3, 2022 for each of the eight (8) prizes and the winners selected at random. Each winner will be chosen at random and announced by email or other means shortly thereafter. The decision of Refunds Today is final in all matters relating to this giveaway. The drawing is final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
4. Obligations of Winner: Winner need not be present to win. Winners must complete any and all legal documents, including a W-9 and an affidavit of eligibility if requested, and return them to Refunds Today within seven (7) working days after receipt of such documents. In the event of noncompliance with these requirements, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. If the prize or any prize notification is returned as undeliverable or Refunds Today is unable to contact the winner after reasonable efforts, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
5. Entering without purchase: No purchase is necessary to enter and will not improve the chances of winning. To enter without purchase, send a 3x5 card with your contact information (including, your name, title, company name, address, email address, and telephone number) to Refunds Today Fall 2022 Sweepstakes, 225 Chastain Meadows Court NW, Suite 200, Kennesaw, GA 30144. The card must be postmarked on or prior to Sept 30, 2022. A postcard’s postmark date will be treated the same as received by date for purposes of determining whether you are entered into the drawing. No responsibility is assumed by Refunds Today for lost, late, or misdirected entries.
6. Redemption: Winners will have their prizes e-mailed to them from Refunds Today.
7. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open to all persons who enter in accordance with Paragraphs 1 or 5 of these Official Rules. Employees of CCH SFS and Refunds Today and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible to participate. Proof of identity must be furnished upon request.
8. General: The Sweepstakes is subject to applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and Refunds Today’s decisions. Winners agree to release Refunds Today and its employees, representatives, affiliates and suppliers, including without limitation their advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damage with respect to the award, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize or participation in any prize-related activity. Acceptance of prizes shall constitute and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Refunds Today may use his/her name and address (city and state only), likeness and/or prize information for promotional purposes without further compensation, where legal. All prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of entries are received. Refunds Today reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Sweepstakes should virus, bugs or other causes beyond Refunds Today’s control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes.
9. Winner’s List: A list of winners will be provided upon request to RT.Support@wolterskluwer.com.
